Since August 2022, Pension Nordlicht in Esens-Bensersiel on the North Sea coast has had a new owner. André Stigler not only takes over the premises - he also revives the former family property.

The pension, built in 1904, formerly Pension Vandkauf, is taken over in 1977 by Theda and Georg Stigler.

In the same year, they expand the premises with a large extension so that even more guests can come to their house in the future. Under the management of the Stigler family, the Pension Nordlicht has been offering a warm home in a family environment to many holiday guests and travelers passing through for 34 years.

In 2011, with a heavy heart, the pension was handed over to the Kappelmann family and then in 2017 to the Hermsdorf family. Until finally, in August 2022, the grandson of Theda and Georg Stigler returned it to the family estate.

A lot has happened in the premises since the grandparents handed it over. A PV system was installed and all guest rooms have been renovated since 2018.

But even after the takeover by the young owner, the Pension Nordlicht continues to experience a modern upswing. As a genuine East Frisian, the trained businessman is now injecting his charm back into the family business.

The digitization of booking and invoicing processes is intended to make work sustainable in the future. The homepage also gets a new coat of paint. André would like to offer an insight into his premises via social media in the future.

But the building is also being diligently modernized. The roof of the old building was recently partially renovated and eleven new Velux windows were installed. In addition, the park and gardens were renovated. She now cordially invites you to linger.

Pension Nordlicht wants to offer its guests the best possible holiday experience. You can plan your stay in the family business on the North Sea coast via "Booking.com", "AirBnB" or soon via the "HometoGo" website. Contact via e-mail or telephone is also possible.

Stay in one of the eight apartments or book one of the four double rooms. You can also feel comfortable in the Pension Nordlicht in a three-bed room or one of the five single rooms. In the future, André Stigler will also be offering two multi-bed rooms with shared bathrooms for fitters. Every guest should find something suitable for their stay here. Travel groups of up to 34 people can also find accommodation here.
Optionally, you can round off your travel experience with the daily continental breakfast buffet. In any case, you can start a day full of opportunities well strengthened, because the East Frisian region around the guesthouse offers many sights and activities.
